I just came here about 50 days ago, and my medical was following but there is a scar on my lung   now  they referred me to go tu the muhesna medical fitness center and my sputum test is on daily basis for 3 days tomorrow is my last day, now what they do with me, there is no record of TB at my past and pneumonia 😢 i am on my husband sponsership..

Even if it is TB, they will allow for a family visa on compassionate basis in this case.  But you can never work in the UAE.    The process is still evolving but you might need to leave (in case they deport) and then apply to lift the ban.  It's a hassle but will work out in the end.

Dear Zy rene
To the best of my knowledge this is how the system works.
1. If your medical test only involved blood test, then there is nothing to worry about because the test is only to establish HIV.
2. If they did an X-ray then you need to have a clear certificate, because if a TB scar is detected, then only they will take the next steps

You will be advised by the Health Authority

Thank you NCN

Hello Zy Rene
If your visa has already been put into your passport then you have nothing to worry about.

Has this been completed?

Just an update.. still waiting for the result..

Hi

Just out of curiosity and for anyone who was deported and wanted to go back on spouse visa, what would be tge procedure and how long will it take? Also, will tgey be able to work in UAE or it will just be entry permit without having all of the previllages of an expat to make a living in the UAE?

Thanks in advance

XTang

You can go back on spouse visa as a humanitarian case but you will not be able to work or get a work visa.

Hi All,

I already got job offer last months,  and if everthing went well, i should start working on 1 nov, but then i read this thread, and a bit nervous, cause i think, i also have problem with my lung, last month i got xray and it's a bit hazy in my lung because of the long covid effect ( I was infected few months ago)

my question is, if they found that my lung wasnt ok, are they going to examine further about this to know the cause or i will automatically not passed? so far, i think i'm clean (no HIV, TB, etc)
but this lung scar thingy kinda makes me nervous.

let me know what u think

cheers,

Mera

Hi
I was in uae residence visa for 13 yrs. This April we had to leave due to job teansfer. Luckily my husband got back job and visa for him. I came and went for medicals @ muhaisnah and was told for follow-up. Then dr said coud see old scar in lungs and asked if I had any record.. I dint have anything before. I saw many posts related to this topic. I gave 3 day sputum and i am given fit-- follow up 1 year visa. Nothing else is mentioned. No call. Just want to know if I can proceed for EID.

Did you do sputum test? And for how long your visa sticked to passport 1 year or 2 years?
