Monthly allowance for babies

Hello everyone,

I am moving this week from L.A. to Tokyo. I heard of a governmental monthly allowance of 10,000 or 20,000 yens.

I was wondering whether any of you got it and if you could tell me whether I could apply. My kid was born in the US and is only 2 months old.

yes you can get this allowance ,its 13000 yen by month but you recieve it all every 4 months ,you just go to city office (shiyaksho) and there you apply .and if you need more infos just email me i'll be happy to help
