I am an EU national who wants to pursue a Master's abroad. I have considere studying in France due to their low tuition fees. Since Reunion is part of the Europe's outermost regions and as such part of the EU, I wonder if I will be considered a "home student" and thus pay the same tuition fees that other students that are citizens of Reunion Island pay? Or am I considered an international student and pay the higher tuition fees?
• The term home student is used to refer to those who are eligible to pay university tuition fees at a lower rate than overseas students. In general European Union citizens qualify for home student status. Certain overseas territories are considered to be 'qualifying overseas territories' in terms of determining home student status, such as Greenland, French Polynesia, Montserrat, British Virgin Islands, etc. (Wikipedia)
