This is a really strange request, but I am looking for a way to get an Australian statutory declaration witnessed in Almaty. With no Embassy or Consulate capable of doing this, my only option is a professional, such as a doctor, with registration in Australia, or some other link to Australia. Does anyone in the Almaty expat community know of anyone who might be able to help with this ....?
I recently had to get a stat dec signed outside of Australia (I was in China at the time), but you can't just get a JP or so forth to do it unfortunately. I had to make a trip to the consulate, and use the expensive Notorial Services they offered. It was the only option. Time Consuming and Expensive. As far as I am aware, JPs and signatories can't operate outside of OZ. Sorry! I hope I'm wrong :p
