hi all,

i just joined Expat.com and considering it to be useful. i will down to Budapest in a couple of weeks for a business trip. so far i feel a bit nervous because it is a new country and new language. i would like to find some friends here who can help me out with some information. i just booked a hotel for 7 days but my plans is to stay at least for two months.
English speaking friends are most welcome here to discuss ideas.

my second opinion is about to hire somebody services as a guide who can take me to the concern departments and guide me on day to day issues. how must a quide will cost per hour or per day. does anyone have a clue about it.
All suggestions and views are welcome here.

Maybe you should try posting an advert in the jobs section of Budapest classifieds.

what sort of business trip? what do you need to arrange, visit, what sort of things you think you may need - i can recommend staying in close contact with your embassy / consulate. and try to write to any University - prob students could help out.
