Hello! I do have a query, need your advice and guidance.

I am working in Oman based company(Food & Bev) since 2 years 10 months. As per employment letter, My contract was for two years, it ended on 20th march 2020. Later, company renewed my second time employment visa and now I'm willing to change the Job with more salary and benefits.

As per new rule NOC is not required effecting from 1st January,2021. My question is Do I still require NOC to change the job as I am holding current emplyer visa till 2022? OR can I just serve one month notice period and can change the Job?

Anybody has proper idea about this. kindly respond. Thanks.

You should be able to change job in 2021 with one month notice.
But the thing which is not clear yet is to switch your visa, can it be done without exit\enter Oman or not.
!
It will get clear in the first week of January.

Yes, you still need NOC since you have renewed your contract with the company. NOC is not needed only when one has completed the two years contract and desire to move to another company.

NOC is still required for Visa transfer , if you are already in a contract. Once to finish you can switch the Job. But its still not clear yet that NOC may still be required even after completing a contract.
