I never dreamed, as we watched the fireworks exploding all over Cebu from our balcony last year, that we were in for kind of the year we just had. Of course no one could predict it. There has been a lot of pain and suffering and my heart goes out to all of those who have suffered the loss of a family member or loved one, or who cannot be with their loved ones at this time.

Many of us have also learned lessons during this time of uncertainty about what is most important to us. Perhaps we have new priorities in life. May we remember them when times are easier.

I hope 2021 is a brighter year for everyone, one in which we get the pandemic under control and see some return to normalcy, and I wish each and every one of you a successful and prosperous new year, with the ones you love close by.

Yes...a very happy new year 2021 to one & all, also many thanks for staying online (especially on this portal)
your thoughts & perspectives on a wide range of topics which I have found useful and helpful. (well most of it )....Its been a tough last 9months & it may get tougher...but that too we will overcome in time.
