Hi
New to the forum, I’ve been in Morocco for 5 months now. Wondering if there are any expats in Kenitra?

Fabie55

Hi

Hi

How are you?

I currently live in Kenitra. However I do travel back and forth from Europe

How are you handing COVID in Morocco ?

Cheers

Fabian

Himaroc

Hi there am a moroccan where r u from

Petersonic

Hi Fabian
Good to connect. I actually feel safer here in Morocco than in U.K. We tend to avoid crowded places and times, but don’t necessarily limit our sleeves. We were in Rabat a couple of weeks ago, stopped off at Arribat mall, we were impressed they had socially distanced car parking spaces!
How are you finding Morocco?

Petersonic

Hi Himaroc,
Originally from U.K., living in Kenitra for the past 6months. How about yourself?

Himaroc

Am moroccan living in meknes city pleased to meet u

Petersonic

Cool. I visited the university at Meknes last year. It’s a Very historic and beautiful city. How are finding this period of COVID?

Fabie55

It’s way better here than Europe at the moment .

I have family in London , couldn’t visit because of the recent spike in COVID cases .. so Morocco gives the most freedom at the moment which I’m enjoying.

Haven’t gone to Rabat yet but enjoy the city center of Kenitra and the beach

Cheers

Fabian

Yep you’re right, Mehdia is good (when it’s not raining) What brings you to Morocco and Kenitra?

Petersonic

There is particularly good fish restaurant near the beach, views are not as good as merzuga but the food is 10x better.

Petersonic

Hi himaroc
Where is the best place to eat In meknes?

Petersonic

Happy Saturday everyone.

Hi,
Any recommendations for Dentists in either Kenitra or Rabat. English speaking preferred but not essential.

Mariem1

You need a dentists who speaks english or someone to work as a translator?

Petersonic

Hi
I need a dentist, I would like that they speak English, if they don’t that’s not a problem.

Englishmaninmaroc

But not rushing despite visa expiration
Force majoure I was told so staying until UK gets a grip and some control and discipline

Hey Robin
I couldn’t agree more, the situation in the U.K. needs to stabilise. I’ve been here in July, expired and in no rush to return, additional we’re waiting for our sons passport and we were told it could take 6months as the PP office in the U.K. are working with less people.
How’s daily life where you are?
Thx
P

Petersonic

Hi Robin
I noticed on the U.K. Gov travel website they advise British nationals in Morocco to apply for Moroccan registration card if stranded in Morocco.
The Website is below, seems very straight forward. Worth noting this is different to the resident card, in that the registration card is for temporary stays and resident is for permanent stays.
