Hello, all! Jim and JoAnn Young here, from the United States. We are seriously considering the dual citizenship program, and coming to St. Kitts September 11-16 to see if it would be a good fit. We made these (non-refundable) reservations before the four-day quarantine came into effect, so we're trying to work with it.
Is there anyone in the expat community that might be willing to offer their services as a tour guide (paid, of course) to those areas of the island where expats tend to settle, and to offer their perspectives of life on the island from an expat point of view? This would likely be Sept. 16.
Just a little about us... we have been retired for a few years, are in our sixties, in good health, are active in our current community (Parthenon, AR), and have lived in many different parts of the U.S., from Houston to Parthenon, Alabama to New Jersey. We're adaptable, but we're looking to avoid city living. Looking for a peaceful, slow pace.
Will monitor this post, and offer contact info if I see a response. Thanks!
