Hello all, I'm Pirate Dan.

I live in Seoul, came here two years ago.

When I first went to the embassy it was confusing to get my visa sorted. I started a Youtube channel with info on how to come here and what life is like here.

Please feel free to message me with any questions you have about the country and or visa process :)

Hi everyone. I'm seriously considering TEFL in south Korea next year. It's something I've been interested in since my early 20s but it didn't quite materialise. I'll post another topic with some questions I have.

I'm looking forward to getting to as many of you as possible!  :)

Hey y’all, I have lived in Seongnam on and off for the last 7+ years. I’m in a band, and I write record and mix our stuff in my basement.

I’m also a vegetarian, and let me tell you, this is the the wrong country for vegetarians, but a vegan will have an even harder time.

I’m no expert on anything particular in Korea, but happy to try and answer questions, give a hand etc.

Hello,

Hannah here from Seattle.  :-)
Reaching out for a help from you folks.
I am new to the area and needing a serious computer and phone help.  My devices are compromised and tried three time to reset and purchased totally different devices but still being followed making my life unbearable. My identity have been stolen upon arrival here a couple of months ago and the hackers are using my identity all around the world by posting fake profile of myself to scam off of people.  It's been devastating and difficult to handle all alone here. If anyone can give me some advise or refer me to a hacker specialist would be greatly appreciated. The cybercrime unit in police station was not interested in helping me until I get seriously charged for a fraud.  It's mind boggling.  Your kindness is very much appreciated. Thanks,

Hyacinth Mcdonald

you said that Police were not interesting your situation , Is the Korean Police are you talking about ??

Artu_barna

Hello everybody.
Im from spain and my name is arturo. Because i work in IT i can work remotely so i want to go to Seoul for a couple of months as turist. I'm planning to do that as soon as the Covid restricitions are lifted.

I'd like to have contact with people living there so i can ask about the expat life in there. Because i'm going as turist i won't need any help with the visa, just  other day by day details about rents, hotels, areas to live in, places to eat...
I've been a couple of times in the city for a couple of weeks but always as turist.

I can help you with any info about spain or with the spanish/english language, you can help me with the knowledge about Korea, and a bit about the language as i know just a couple of sentences.
