Based on my 16 years of working overseas in 5 countries, including in South East Asian countries, let me share a few thoughts:

1. At the cost of sounding old fashioned, you need to know someone already working in your desired location. Then try to get leads. Typically in South East Asian countries like Thailand and Indonesia, employers will employ you only if someone known to them can vouchsafe your capability for the post to be filled up.

2. Alternatively, look for a job thru known head hunting agencies. When I say "known", I am suggesting agencies which will place you in companies having sound business and more important, sound personnel policies. Lot of companies referred by head hunting agencies can be shady -- erratic pattern of salary payment, pursuing unethical business practices, defaulting on written commitments made to you as an employee, retaining employees' passports ( this is rampant in the Middle East), and so on.
3. Finally, please avoid making tall claims in your CV. You have to be as good as your CV; else, you will see locals resenting your presence apart from your employer revisiting your employment.
