Registration in Antwerp after getting visa D art 10

Post new topic

Hi, wondering if anyone can share the procedure and their experience in registering in antwerp after arrival? I believe one has to register within 8 days upon arrival but how to do that if you are required to quarantine for 10days? Thanks

Hi! Did you resolve this issue? Have the same problem

deebardo

We did the registration online within 8 days upon arrival via antwerpen.be. We got a response to wait for the police visit after which we then got an appointment for the ID (biometrics, etc).

Thank you!

How long did it take for the police to come after you send an application?

Hi

i want to ask how long it takes to get the residence permit once you submit all the documents at the commune ?
I had registered myself online at E-LOKET in Antwerp and submitted all the documents on that but don't know what the timelines are ?

Any clarity will be greatly appreciated.

3 weeks to 2 months ;)

@deebardo hello could you please let me know how you registered on the website? could you please send me the link of which application?

Also, after the police came and you went to the municipality did you there apply for a residency card?

Thank you!

I have to do all of this for my husband too

@nadine dekmak

it was a long time ago but I looked it up for you:

I would say fill out the form here  https://www.antwerpen.be/product/verblijfsaanvraag as soon as your husband arrives in Belgium, then wait for the reply/instructions. During our time (covid times), police came after 2 weeks then we got an appointment to go to the gemeente to submit original documents, photo, etc. to apply for residence card.
