Hi,
I’m new here, currently trying to apply for mvv visa to go to the Netherlands because my bf works there and he is Dutch.
So he is on a temporary job contract, which doesn’t fit the requirements from IND website. But we can proof that we have enough money in his bank account to last us for more than a year(more money than the minimum salary requirement). And the money has been there for years not touched.
We will also provide the statements from his parents that they can totally support us if he is out of jobs.
So anyone know wether that could be acceptable?

Any reply would be welcomed. Thank you very much!

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Your boyfriend/partner does not need to have a permanent job contract; there are many people in the Netherlands on temporary contracts.  The requirement is for "income"; if his Dutch bank account shows the required regular income, then you'll have no problem.

If you're still worried, ask your boyfriend to contact the IND in the Netherlands; they have a contact section on their website; this link will take you straight there.  They also have a Twitter feed where they will answer generic questions.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much! That’s very helpful.
I’m just worried that my bf is not having a long term income history, he has only been working for half a year now. But the back account has been having that much money to support us for a year since a few years ago.
So we couldn’t provide the salary history for the past 3 year, but our bank account for the past 3 years.
Thank you again for replying
