Post new topic

Dear all,

Is there a LBGTQ community in Saigon?   Where do they hang out?  Coffee shops or restaurants?

Please advise.

Best,

I don't think any of this forum's members are gay (or I haven't noticed), but I gather there are gay friendly places in that city.
I can't say first hand because I'm neither gay nor there, but I did find this.

I have absolutely no clue as to its accuracy, but it might provide a start for you.

The LGBT community in Saigon is large and very active. If you go to the video section of FB and search for the weekly program (there are many archived videos from past shows) called Come Out, you'll find plenty of information for LGBT events in the comment section.  The very informative Saigoneer magazine also has a list of LGBT events published almost monthly.

PS:  I'm told No Stress Cafe located in a hẻm off Nguyễn Trãi in Q1 is the newest coffee shop for young LGBT.  Aside from providing good drinks and good pastries, it's also the HQ of No Stress Jobs, a social group that shares information on non-discriminatory jobs to the LGBT community.
