Cost of living on Samar

Are you going to live on Parasan Island? That would be amazing! How do  you get to the island? Is there a ferry?

Plenty of motorcycles on Biliran Island and quite a few accidents. You see underage drivers every day but as long as they don't pass through the checkpoint they're good to go, and the checkpoint is always in the same place.

Last year someone sponsored a big motorcycle rally. Lots of big bikes from Manila and Cebu participated. The route started in Leyte then crossed the Biliran bridge, circled this island then back to Leyte. I thought it was the same bikes drag racing in front of my house so I called the police chief and told him bikes were doing 100 past my house. He said there was a rally and no way the bikes are going 100 kph because they had set up a checkpoint to monitor speed. I said not 100 kph,100 mph and someone is going to get killed. Later that day someone did get killed. It was a woman in a tricycle near Palo, Leyte. Here is a link to the video of the accident.
