Anyone has used Bahrain.bh to apply for a visa for their parents

My problem is, parents visited Bahrain a few years ago, visa was facilitated by my employer.

Nowadays, employer says apply through e-visa portal. Unfortunately, to issue an e-visa, parents would need a valid US/UK/Shengen visa as part of the required documents.

Can i apply from the Bahrain.bh and me (the resident) be the guarantor, or is the guarantor my employer?

Any help would be appreciated

Evisa portal for individuals only issues unsponsored visas.  They will not consider you as a guarantor.  Your employer needs to facilitate for your parents to get a visa.   Evisa portal leads to a lot of visa rejections in any case for otherwise eligible people and even sponsored visas are difficult to get for older people like parents.
