I see many posts from the administrators directing people who post in the forums to use the classifieds. In my region there are so few posts I don't see how anyone actually finds what they're looking for there.

Has anyone got a story of finding/selling something successfully through the classifieds on this site?

It actually depends on your location. The classifieds section is very active in Mauritius for example, and a friend of mine sold his car in 3~4 weeks.

Just to give you an idea, we receive minimum 300 new ads every day
