Hello,
I am not really familiar with the legal aspects of migration to Bulgaria.
As far as I know if a person is a resident of EU state they can freely travel to all the others member states and stay up to 3 months without registration. After that period they should register in the police with a local address. They should do the same earlier if they are to start an employment here.
For residents of non EU countries I think they need a visa in most cases.

Dude, you don't need anything. You can stay in Bulgaria as long as you like. You're a EU citizen. That's enough. Rent a flat or something and start your local business. In fact, there's a guy on the forum that I think is associated with a website called Alternative Bulgaria Living. They usually help (with a payment I presume) people to open a business in Bulgaria so you could try them out for advice.

But why would you like to move to Bulgaria? You're Belgian. Belgium is a high-quality country and has plenty of jobs. Just curious.
