SRRV type question

Post new topic

Filamretire

Hi all, married to a Filipina my age and close to retirement. Post isn't about visa suspension, hopefully cleared up by the time we retire but I was wondering what type of SRRV visa to get. I dont want the hassle of 13a visa, or Balikbayan. I was thinking the Courtesy visa since wife is dual national. If not then the classic, which the deposit is allowed to be used for condo or lease, however we are planning to buy land (since wife is dual national it is permitted) so would we still be able to move the deposit money into the land deal?

SRRV is halted and under review, it isn't decided what will happen with SRRV.
It started because of many YOUNG chineese "retire" in Phils and WORK.

Just a GUESS it can be as before but with some change concerning minimum age and working with SRRV.

I would suggest filing for your permanent residence visa.  Srrv visa are suspended and there not starting them anytime soon.  You can apply while your abroad, and you wont have to do the probationary period.
