Hi folks.

We (my wife) want to live is a country other than ours. And she is Spanish as well. And our marriage is valid via Spanish Libra da Familia.

My high school pal came to my mind. He and his wife is living in Brussels, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert for 3 years.

We intend to open up our business there. We are both pychotherapists.

Would you recommend that hood (or commune as Belgians say) for a newcomer family that can do online work at these covid times?

(And please keep in mind that I am living some orthepedic difficulties because of MS disease)

Hello and welcome on our website,

Before we start, let's get things straight, you want to try a professional expatriation despite a medical problem, it's all to your credit.  No matter where you live, you will have to learn French or Flemish.  And from a professional point of view, you have to have your diplomas and your professional achievements validated.

Thanks for the reply.

We'll be living in Brussels. I guess French would be enough.

Do you suggest a medical immigration (or whatever its name is) or benefiting my wifes Spanish nationality and starting to reside there just like any EU citizen.

(Validation of diplomes etc. and registering to Belgium psych. System is another case)
