Hi All,
I'm looking for a good clinic/doctor for my girlfriend's Father who is suffering badly with arthritis in his legs , he's 63 and been a manual worker most of life .
He has no insurance and nobody in the family has asked for my support but he's nice man and been a friendly genuine host so I'd like to help him a little .
He's had some injections previously but I'm not convinced of his present 'doctors' knowledge of what i think can be a complicated illness, thanks in advance ,

I am not a doctor & I just bought my first tube but was told many people are using this product. It came off the prescription list in the USA 3 months ago.  I paid around $9 us.
The name of the product is Diclofenac  Gel. I have no idea if it will help. I purchased thru Walgreens chain.
Good luck

Thanks for that , think i used it myself on some injury years ago, maybe worth a try .But think he needs a specialist to be honest , thanks again.

A doctor who specializes in the care of arthritis is called a "rheumatologist".

Google translates that as "bác sĩ thấp khớp", though I'm sure someone has a better translation.

Maybe that will aid you in your search.

Here is a list of seven rheumatologists in Hà Nội (website in Vietnamese language):

Doesn't a rheumatologist specialize in rheumatoid arthritis?  Osteoarthritis is far more common and is usually treated by orthopedists.  Rheumatoid arthritis is an auto-immune disease while osteoarthritis is usually just caused by normal wear and tear.  Treatments are similar but not identical.  Given that the OP described this gentleman as a manual worker, I would expect that his problem is physical and not disease based.  There are no tests that can detect rheumatoid arthritis directly but some blood tests can narrow down the diagnosis.

An Orthopedist is a surgeon.

A Rheumatologist is an internal medicine specialist.

No change to my recommendations.
