hello guys my name is Rahul and I m living in Netherland with my EU/EER type resident permit, I got this resident permit because my brother is Irish citizen .
BUT now I want to stay in Netherland more than five year and I have also job in Netherland.
I want to know, I STILL HAVE TO TAKE A2 INBURGERING EXAM FOR PERMENT RESIDENT PERMIT?
OR CAN I GET PR WITHOUT GIVING DUTCH LANGUAGE EXAM BECAUSE MY BROTHER IS EU CITIZEN

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

The nationality of your brother is irrelevant.  If you had to go through MVV (including the language exam) to enter the Netherlands, then you will need to do the 2nd stage in order to remain there.

Hope this helps.

Hi Rahul,
I think it depends which permanent residence permit you apply, Eu long term permit for family members of Eu national I think you don’t need to do inburgering.
Let me know if you had other experience!
Thx
