Renewing your "Tourist E-Visa" 2021

Post new topic

Good morning all!! It seems most posts on this topic are quite old, and do not apply towards the new E-Visa, which is a tourist visa, and is available upon arrival from an airport. If travelling by land, into KSA, just apply online and make the payment online. After payment, was complete and i hit the "enter" button on my computer, literally 30 seconds later, i got the E-Visa (Tourist) visa in my email inbox. The visa validity is for 365 days, of which you can stay for 90 days maximum, and then must exit the country and then return again, but the total length of time, you can stay in the country is 180 days.
I just finished my 90 days. I was attempting to cross the border by land, into Bahrain, and then turn around and head back into KSA. Bahrain customs said, this was not possible. IF...I go into Bahrain, i must apply for a new E-Visa from the KSA embassy in Bahrain, in order to use the final/additional 90 days of my 180 day maximum.

Does anyone know, or have experience with this. If I go back into Bharain, does anyone know, if it is simply a matter of going into Bahrain, open the KSA visa page and request a renewal, and get it processed in less than i minute, the same way I got my first visa??

Thank you. Tim

If someone had an e-visa before Corona pandemic, December 2019. Due to corona saudi borders close for three months, the visa wasn’t used. Is it still valid and can come to KSA?

I believe the validity of of the visa starts on the day it is issued, whether you go immediately, or wait for 3 months for your first 90 day maximum visit.

I know of someone who did this last year but I can not find any official information on this. Was kind of hoping to find information here.
