10/15 years back, such communities used to be a thing when social media wasn't that big.
People helping people in those bulletin board was amazing.
As I am a traveler and a photographer, I have explored most of the places in this Beautiful country.
Here, I'm going to answer all of your travel related questions.
ASK ME ANYTHING here.

Hello. I will be traveling to Faisalabad, Pakistan. It's my first trip to the country. Can you please tell me if Faisalabad is generally safe and especially for a foreign woman? Is there anything that I should know?  I understand I need to dress modestly, of course.  I've been told that head covering is not necessary as long as dressing is modest, but I've seen many local women there in video wearing head covering. Thank you for any advice you could possibly give me.

As long as it isn't too revealing, Its fine.
A jeans and a shirt is fine as well as ShalwarQameez.
Pakistanis are more welcoming to foreigners and they all will try to greet you with a smile.
Hope you have a great journey.

Thank you very much for your reply. I would imagine a shirt would mean a longer one where the backside is covered if wearing jeans. So, safety is not an issue in Faisalabad, at least, I will assume...but of course, a woman should be alert in every circumstance as a safety precaution. I've noticed a lot more men on the street than women in videos. I will assume that it may not be a good idea for a woman to go out alone at night. I am very much looking forward to seeing what daily life is like there. Pakistanis seems friendly. Thank you again.  :)

Yes you are right.
There are places in each city where its fine to go out in the night time and there are places where it is not better to go out alone.
Different scenarios.
I advice you to use COUCHSRUFING platform to meet locals from the city.
They are going to guide you more.
If you want, I can help you get added in CS PAKISTAN and other local groups - These groups holds weekly meetups and they discuss all about the culture and traveling around the country.
You can make loads of local friends and they try their best to help you out as much possible.
