Request for advice - Relocating to Bahrain and maid visa

Hi,

I plan to move to Bahrain with my family in the coming months. I am an Indian citizen and plan to bring in help from my hometown on a domestic expat employee work permit. I have a few questions,

1. I am looking at the website page: https://lmra.bh/portal/en/page/show/224. Is there anything else I need to refer to?
2. Has Bahrain enforced any restrictions to bringing in domestic help because of the pandemic?
3. How feasible is it to bring the person on a visit visa and then convert them to a work permit?
4. I will be arriving in Bahrain first with a work permit. I will then apply for a visa my wife, daughter and the maid altogether. Is this feasible, or do I need to bring my family first?
5. Do I need to place a deposit for applying for the work permit?
6. Do I need a NOC from my employer? I will be employing the maid, not my employer.
7. I prefer to apply directly through the Authority, is going throught an Employment office a better option? If so, how much do that charge?

Thanks in advance for the help. Appreciate everyone's time.

Regards

First of all, read this sticky:

https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=750635

1) Refer to your sponsor.  Not everything is on the website
2) No
3) Feasible for work and dependent visa.  More complicated for domestic visa
4) You need to bring family first
5) For maid, 500 BD deposit when the visa is approved
6) Your employer is the sponsor of record not you - system works differently here.  The fact that you are an employee and have a family means that you are eligible to employ a maid but your employer is the real sponsor for all of you.  So yes, you would need their help
7) Employment office is only feasible if you don't have a maid to begin with and / or you are on a self sponsorship visa.  You are employed by a company, use their support

And do yourself a favor, read the sticky and understand the sponsorship system.  For example, I employed a maid, I didn't need NOC and I applied directly to the authority but then again, I am on a self sponsorship visa.  I had to sign undertaking / forms in multiple places both as the "SPONSOR" and "EMPLOYER".   For you, in some forms, the sponsor field is your company.  So this means, you are better off getting help than wasting time.

No there is no such requirement for the first maid visa.  The requirement only comes when you are hiring a SECOND maid.
