Hello planning to experience Vietnam by living in Da Nang, we visited in 2019 and fell in love with the city.
How short can the terms be?
Does the building offer wifi?

In general (as of my last visit there in March) you can rent an apartment for 30 days at a time.

However the rent will be cheaper if you agree to a lease of 3 months, 6 months or a year.

Landlords normally want a deposit, but they are routinely offering "no deposit" specials on Facebook during the current COVID-19 lockdown of the international borders.

Utilities (electricity and water) will usually be extra.

Almost all furnished apartments and hotel rooms have at least basic WIFI included.

There are some places known as "Hotel Apartments" where rooms have been converted by adding a kitchenette.

In most of THOSE places, utilities are included, just as they usually are in a hotel room.

Danang is currently a renter's market because so many businesses have shut down, and support services geared toward foreigners are largely not available.

It's a very bleak place to be right now in the foreigner-friendly areas.

Perhaps some of the luster and vitality will return again by spring or summer of 2022.

There is no indication that a large influx of tourism will happen by this summer, so even if tourists are freely allowed by this fall, the monsoon season will arrive about the same time, when Danang normally sees seasonal tourism drop.

Danang city itself (beyond the confines of the foreigner friendly areas) is actually recovering nicely.

If you are willing to live on the north side of the city, along the shoreline of Danang Bay, you can probably find some good deals on housing, keeping in mind that everything there isn't constructed or furnished in styles considered desirable by all foreigners.

That area is almost exclusively a vacation destination for Vietnamese citizens, so there is little English spoken, and all services (restaurants, grocery stores, markets, salons, etc) are geared toward Vietnamese people.

Good luck.
