Thats what im trying to tell him since earlier. Using limitless and informing everyone about it is wrong. Limitless means never ending. Its like you dont have a choice to end it. Indifinite contract is different and theres a way for you to end it.

It doesn't matter because your contract isn't expired yet.
Ask them to release you.
Do this through talk and understanding.

Hi there! good afternoon. I have a question to raise. My 2 years contract had finished last year of Dec.2020, but because of Pandemic I failed to go home for vacation. Now I'm near to complete the 3 year continuous working. I'm deciding to transfer to another company w/c they accept me (new employer). Its possible or okay to proceed that my current employer will not object? Or they have right to hold me. My Iqama will expire on Feb.2022. Thank you. Waiting for a reply...

Ask your current employer about it.
You need permission from the current employer.
And yes, they can hold you.
Ask arsal7
Thank you for the info. I will check it with my current employer. Regards....

Yes, but in 3 conditions, you can get the transfer without permission.
If your iqama is expired for 3 days.
Or
If you didn't get your Salary for 3 months straight.
Or
If your company's Niqataat status is red.
More power to you & thank you again. I will do my best to convince my company to release me.
Good night....
Hi everybody, hope everything are okay. Sir, a question to raise. Is there any new amendment for the Article 40, paragraph 1 of Saudi Labor Law as of this year. Because my employer through the HR Department of my company that I'm working at present. They are forcing the people through written instruction (e-mail) that all the expat will go on Vacation must pay their exit & re-entry visa. So, most of the employee they cannot refuse, they pay or else their vacation/departure will be delay. They are doing this practice long time ago, according to those old timer who are working in this company for almost 10 year or more. When ever I raised this question in a meeting, they are saying that it was already change this rule by the government. Is this true? How to stop this, can I know the hotline or e-mail of the concern party or individual in the Ministry of Labor, in order to report this matter. If it is wrong? What is the penalty if they found guilty for what they are doing. Please response?

You can report this but remember, no one will support you.
You will be alone in this and they should have getting this money in cash or cutting through the salaries in some other manner.
They can say the person was absent and they have cut the salary.
So, if that happens, that case will be over in minutes and after that, they will fire you and give you a final exit.
I know what will happen to me, if that is the case. Your right. So, they are lying, no such amendment has been made for this Article for this year. Is that correct? Any how, you know where to report this things? I need a # or e-mail, can you please give if you know? I will share your response to some of my colleague to be aware of this things, even they knew it what is happening. Thanks again for your info. Really appreciate. Bye..

I haven't heard of such amendments at all.
You can report this to Labour office.
But as i am saying, there will be bad outcomes for you.
No one will support you, your colleagues will step back.
Think about it.
Try to get out of this company.

Hi, there & Good day to all of you. Sir, this is to inform you that I have received on offer from the employer (new) through Qiwa site valid for 60days. When I inform my current employer they refused to let me transfer. They said that I have to resign or finish my current contract first & ask for a new visa from my new employer. Meaning I have to start in my home country to process everything. Is this correct? Please advice. Note :The first round of my contract (every 2 years) has been finish 1 years ago running for the 4th year in my current company.

Yes, your company has every right and authority to deny your transfer.
You should have asked them first before doing anything.
