just change the country name and the whole page conveniently changes to the country of desire, seems fishy: https://www.myus.com/welcome/thailand/

After you do it one time, next time you will spend more time searching here for a substitute. Or put it on your list to pick up next time in Singapore or Bangkok.

I ordered a $300 watch from Hong Kong. Customs notified me to pay duty, wife had to go to some bank to do that.  A few days later, notified again saying the valuation the seller put on the box was too low (correct!) and we had to go pay more. I think about 20% total. So, cost and hassle and retail price was not worth it.
I have a list for whenever I go back to the states, but I have been successful adapting to many substitutes here, and I even break down and pay retail (RETAIL!) for name brand clothes and shoes in the mall now. Assimilation.
