My friend had a similar case and he had to visit the passport office but that was before lockdown. i am not sure requirements are still the same or something have changed. You will take your marriage contract with the jawazat form and below stuff.

2 photos,
original and copy of residence permit of you and your wife
If your marriage contract is from out of KSA ensure it is attested from MOFA.
Since your wife is in someone else you need a letter stating that the sponsor has no objection in transferring to you. it is called "خطاب نقل" . it must be attested from Chamber of commerce.
pay the transfer fees of 2K
