Advice on package

Post new topic

LPgrl

Hello everyone
I have been offered a job to lead a subject.
The package is as follows.
16800RM  800RM was for leading a department of 3 people?
70% off school fees
2000RM moving allowance
Flights and medical
Visa for spouse

NO accommodation allowance.
Would you say this is reasonable for a family of 4?
Thanks
Lilly

Hey there it’s the teaching sector.
I am leading a department in schools.

Im not sure about teaching sector but as per my research, it seems to be a good salary and since you are getting 70% off school fee, it's a big relief if it's an international school as fees is very high.

If you are in for long term, once you are considered a resident, progressive tax will apply, which is very less compared to other countries.

Two of biggest expenses for expats in Malaysia are housing and schooling expenses. Cars are expensive to buy.
