Hi I'm currently in a relationship with  my EU partner(Lithuanian) who is currently living and working Netherlands while I live abroad. we've been together now for 3years. We've plan to get married last year, but CoVid happened so that and alot of our plans got cancelled. up to now my country doesn't accept travellers(as many are) so we've decided to marry in Netherlands.

We've checked that we can marry but the question is how do I get there for us to marry?
I searched IND, googled info and I've just been getting confusing information (or maybe I just understood things wrong.)

*Do I need to apply for MVV to be in Netherlands or do I need some certain type lf Visa?

*Would it be possible for us to apply for verification against EU if we haven't lived together for 6months.? Majority of our relationship is LDr due to his work and covid. I have read somewhere that this possible but i can't find much sources to backed this up

Would appreciate any insight regarding this.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

MVV is a joint immigration/work visa; you can apply for it in your own right; this link will take you to the IND website with the details on the process and how to apply.

Verification visa; as you have identified, you need to prove you are in an existing long-lasting relationship; what you've described does not meet that definition.  Whether the IND will make a derogation because of Covid is unknown.

My advice is that your boyfriend makes an appointment to go and speak to the IND and see what all your options are.  Contact information for the IND is at this link.

Hope this helps.
