Hello everyone around the world,

I just join this site as a way of meeting new people and finding advice for me to teach abroad.
I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada (great city :)) and I recently graduation pharmacy school in Philadelphia, PA where I currently reside.

I have all my life to be a pharmacist, but it has always been a dream of mine to live and work abroad.  After much thought over the last few weeks I have decided I will pursue a job teaching English in South Korea.

I have been looking up the ways to achieve this goal but is seems to be quite challenging. Many do not recommend recruiters, those that do say there is a list of ones to avoid or you should just apply directly.

What/where do those of you teaching recommend?

thanks

Ola CC&C (very creative name btw :P )

the majority of ur fellow nationals i have met with in Kuwait are teachers, feel free to mosey on over to the Kuwait forum and post a general Q there for teachers (i already know of one such teacher from Montreal currently there on the blog).

its a great place to save up, and be immersed in a culture u have not experienced before.

but, if u dream of more exotic locations, the world is ur oyster. just have a looksie at the countries directory and make a choice, go to said country and find out about applying for jobs there.

u can mostly rely on google for general job searches, but recruitment firms here do help, and they dont charge u a dime. i heard in other places they take half ur salary or a a % of it or something. not so here :)

if u have any other qs, please feel free to ask
