Leaving a Property after feeling uncomfortable - Legal Rights?

Post new topic

Uynghiem Ngo

Hi,

I've been living month to month at a house (Sosua/Cab). My girlfriend felt uncomfortable and we made a small request which turned into an unfortunate breakdown in the relationship.

We already paid for the month of June with receipt. We thought were going to stay longer, however, our experience has been intimidating.

There's no contract, no security deposit, and we said we're going to leave July 1st because we're uncomfortable.

The owner is now forcing us to pay till September or else, she sent us an invoice. Is this possible or could we walk out with no legal discourse?

Thanks for the advice. She asked about switching the rockhard mattress and it turned into owners picking at everything we're doing in the house (using the kitchen, elec, talking loudly).

She wasn't scared, we're just annoyed at the constant nitpicking and can't relax.
