Has anyone studied or is planning to study in Turkey as an international student? I looked at over 20 universities in Turkey both public and private that offer an English Language Education masters program and narrowed down to a few public universities in Izmir, Ankara, Samsun, Bursa, Kayseri and Adana. We need to stay in major city as my husband plans to work while I study. I checked schools in Istanbul, Gaziantep and Antalya but they did not meet the criteria I require. Please share your experiences studying in Turkey. I studied in Istanbul at Özyeğin University before but only for one semester during my undergrad as an exchange student.

Hey. I am currently studying in a government university in Alanya. I am doing management engineering in English from Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat university. I am enjoying my studies but I couldn't find what I imagined before maybe cause of pandemic because It's been 1 year I haven't been to my university. It is like I have done 25% of my degree online and the online study was not what I expected. We are going to have on-campus classes from September, I hope it will be better.  About the cities in Turkey, I have visit 6 cities in Turkey and I love Istanbul maybe because of the weather. About Antalya and Alanya, These cities are damn hot in the summers and I don't like this. Istanbul has crazy weather and it always makes a person happy whenever go outside. I also like Izmir even more than Istanbul because of the hills. The weather was the same as Istanbul.
I hope you will enjoy beautiful Turkey :)

Just have a quick question about the application process. I assume because you're from Pakistan you completed high school studies in English. Did your university still make you submit a language proficiency document or where you exempt since your studies were in English?

First of all, I am sorry for replying to you late. I was inactive. Okay! for me When I got admission they took the English proficiency test but I also gave them bonified letter from my previous university in which there was written that my previous education was in the English language. I also gave an English proficiency test but they exempted me even before announcing the result. So I was exempted but i gave the test.
