Bob,
Did all four of you complete both shots and got COVID more than 14 days after the second jab? COVID infections before completion of the entire time period of the two shot doses and two weeks for full efficacy are not considered “breakthrough” infections, I don’t believe.

Did any of you require hospitalization?

I hope the answer is no to the second question.

I wish you all a quick recovery and mild to no symptoms while you are sick, and I applaud your getting vaccinated.

Eventually, I think (my opinion only), that they may allow booster shots and mixing of vaccines here. But I doubt if that will occur until there is enough supply for everyone. (11.5 million more coming in this July, and 13.5 million scheduled to arrive in August). But if that time does arrive, I will probably get a booster. All the vaccines worldwide are supposed to be very effective at preventing death and serious illness.

As far as COVID spreading through a household, that’s a fairly common issue during this pandemic. That’s why they ask people to quarantine themselves even from their own family members. I fully expect that if one of my household gets it, we will all get it. And so far, I’m the only one who qualifies for the jab.

Again, I wish you all a speedy recovery.

Well for me I will never take any vaccine made by China or Russia, it's just not going to happen. I'm holding out for the better vaccines to make their way to our Province/City.

I just got my single shot Johnson and Johnson alone with hundreds of others from the VA in Manila.
With zero pain and no side effects.
