Yes, i am planning on spending a few months there.  I wanted to start taking classes on line now, and then when im in BG maybe have a class everyday in a coffee shop or something like that.

If you like apps, I highly recommend Duolingo. I'm not sure it's the best way to learn a new language, but I've found it's a great way to give my languages a refresh when not in active use.

Unfortunately, they don't have Bulgarian, but they do have a Russian which is pretty similar, and another member of the cyrillic family.

For Bulgarian, specifically, I've used Mondly, and it's OK too.

For short lessons and conversation in multiple languages, I think iTalki is very interesting.

If you want a personal tutor, I have a school colleague in Plovdiv who is Bulgarian, but spent last 15 years in UK. So he teaches both English and Bulgarian. He was an in-person tutor, but he has started doing remote lessons because of the pandemic. Probably a little expensive by Bulgarian standards, but he's good. Just send me a private message if this option appeals.

yes....  i do not like apps, but i really appreciate the tips.  I am looking for a tutor.   (i am an online tutor myself!!!)

i specifically wanted someone in sliven cause i will be specifically staying there for a  few weeks and wanted to maybe meet in person  once im there.

however, next week i will book a tutor on italki if i dont find another response.
