Freehold ITC property investment to get residency visa for Oman?

Post new topic

I came to know that there is an option to invent on a freehold ITC property to get a permanent residency visa.  Does anyone here get any information about it?

Yezinn

Dear rkla,

yes, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Promotion of Investment, Oman recently announced the Investment Residency Programme (IRP) (5 to 10 years) which will take effect in September 2021 for certain foreign investors who will contribute in vital economic sectors i.e. tourism, real estate sector, etc.

However, the detailed guideline is yet to be released.  Actually, the foreign investors can even currently stay in the country without any age restriction as long as their company is active, though their visas are granted for 2 years renewable only. Under the proposed change, the investor visas will be for 5 or 10 years renewable visas once it is implemented.

Hope it helps.

Hi Yezinn
Appreciate for your input.
So I would like to compare the benefits between the ITC vs. IRP, do you have any data about this?
