Hi Yee Ling,
What plans do you have for this proposed Xmas lunch? Let us know more details and I am sure more will respond.
Serocca10 wrote:Ok, I'll try to organise one even though I'm new to the group.
Xmas day lunch anyone? Just simple makan & chit chat.
Hi everyone,
Not sure what everyone likes so I have 2 options:
1) Lunch + bowling
2) Lunch + movie at a cinema (Mission Impossible 4 or Alvin & the Chipmunks)
Sorry, don't really like gift exchanges as past experience has taught me that most of the time I will get stuff that are not practical & fattening :p
As for the lunch itself, depends on everyone's tastebuds. We can have:
1) Singaporean/Malaysian
2) Japanese BBQ
3) Japanese (normal)
4) Dim sum
5) German
6) Italian
7) Indian
8) Hakka (in district 5)
9) Westerm (general)
10) Mushroom hotpot
Let me know what you think about it. Thanks.
Hi all,
I am Singaporean relocating from china with my husband. We have some issues with our cargo to be shipped to hcm. We were told that without a work permit, we are unable to ship our cargo over. Anyone with similar experience?
Hi Mimi,
Yup, without a work permit / resident card, you can't ship your personal items over. What I did was let the cargo sit at the home (or shipper's awarehouse if you've already packed) until you get the work permit, then start the process.

OK, bro. Be sure I will patronize your hotel when I go to Can Tho. I will quote my nick.
1 question. Is it possible that my GF stay together in a room with me?
Sure, just take down my number and give me a buzz or text whichever is convenient for you.
Regards to your question, better that you pm me..
The Law by Right.
Under the Vietnamese law, a guest who is not a Vietnamese citizen cannot share a room with a Vietnamese citizen without proof of marriage to each other. Otherwise, a second room must be booked.
