Hi There,

Would just like to know if you could survive on a salary of Rs 60,000 per month? Is that reasonable? We will be 3 adults.

Hi Yelles,
in coastal areas the rent is about 20 000-30 000 MUR so it will be tough but you can probably find cheaper in the middle of the island in not so touristic areas.  Feel free to ask me if you have any questions,
Anna.

You can survive on this salary.

Find a cheap apartment, and do overspend on groceries and utilities. You should be fine with that.

Bear in mind that some people live on half of that with twice the number of people. Find a good online job that pays as well if you need to add some extra to the income.
