I am writing to seek advice on starting a Chinese restaurant business in Luanda. Everyone says Luanda, Angola is most expensive place to live. I presume it is the same with starting a business there. I realize that there are a few Chinese restaurant but it may have room for one more? I like to know the cost of renting a building (two storey building, upstairs for living since it is hard to find housing)and the typical rental terms (payable 1 year in advance?). I also like to know if someone could tell me how difficult it is to obtain a business license for a reastaurant? Would you think it is necessary to have an Angolan partner in such business? I am looking to start a medium size restaurant to seat about 75 people. Thanks for your advice.
