Nursing in France

sachar

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to work as a nurse at the hopital franco britanique in Paris without being fluent in French. I understand that you must be fluent to practice as a nurse in France, but I was wondering, due to it being a reigistered British Charity, whether the rules are different here? I have googled but I can't find anything about working there at all!
Thanks very much,
Sacha

Take a look at the American Hospital in Paris too:
http://www.american-hospital.org/en/ame … teams.html

"The American Hospital of Paris recruits nurses and nurses-aides with a French state degree, or with a degree recognized by the French government (or European equivalent). Applicants may be experienced or just starting their career."

It's possible that fluent French is not necessary there.  Worth asking about directly.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I did have a look at the American hospital but it appears you do need to be fluent in French to work there. I just wondered whether the hopital franco britanique would be different due to it being registered within the UK as a charity
