I'm interested in what Spanish speakers think of this...

Do you agree? What would your number 1 be? There are some important ones I forgot, like ahorita and cabron.

lactarius_indigo

Hello Ted, i think that those are the most important, but in my opinion the number one would be all the variations of "chingar"

Ted TC

Thanks man! Number 1 was a hard choice but I had to go with wey.

You´re welcome, actually, i think the correct spelling is güey =)

I said, "Que?" when I needed someone to repeat, and they said, "Mande" is better because Que sounds uneducated.

Mande means "to send", order etc.. I was taught to use the word "monday" as in the English word. I know this spelling is wrong in Spanish but the pronunciation is right, accent on the "day' not on the "mon". It means repeat what you said I did not hear you. It could be spelled "mundé" but it is not in the translator as that, it is translated as "common sheeps from" WHAT does that mean?

PC Compatible Platform Make sure the Num Lock on the keypad at the right of your keyboard is on. Hold down the ALT key while at the same time typing the following numbers on the keypad.
The character will appear when you lift the ALT when finished typing the numbers.
ALT 160 = á

ALT 162 = ó
ALT 163 = ú
ALT 164 = ñ
ALT 168 = ¿
ALT 130 = é
ALT 173 = ¡
ALT 129 = ü

No problema. I live in SD part time now and have a family of good friends in Rosarito. My wife and I go there to walk around on our way to Villa Ortegas in Puerto Nuevo. Their ceviché and bacon wrapped shrimp and hot cream cheese stuffed mini buns can't be beat, plus the 2 decks on the cliff.

I just asked my wife and you are right and I am wrong. It is "mande" or better yet ,more formal, is "mande usted" when asking someone to repeat what they have just said. I had this accent wrong for a long time but no one bothered to correct me. O Boy!

Mande is essential Mexican Spanish... also people say "eo" - I don't know how it is spelled, but it sounds like the two letters in English, "A" and "O"
