Working Visa Delayed 2021

Hi! I am thankful to friends who have somehow given me an idea on how long my working visa will take. However, I'm not the only one faced with this dilemma. Therefore, I will share a few information which I have learned from friends here. It would be great if you can give additional information with regards to how long it took til your visa was approved and about how it was processed and all. Below are a few information about myself and what I know about my visa status.

1. I am a Filipino who wishes to work in Bahrain, am residing in the Philippines.
2. I was applied for a working visa as a General Nurse
3. I have contacted LMRA. However, as my friends here have already warned me, the only thing they'll tell you is that your papers are being processed AND that my papers are currently in the immigration.
4. Friends have also told me that despite coming from a red listed countries there PROBABLY is an exemption for Healthcare workers. HOWEVER, there may be delays.
5. It's now about 5 weeks since my visa was applied for.
6. It shows that my "Application is in progress with the GDNPR and will have a decision soon. If approved, it will move to; await payment (Status: Await GDNPR)
7. GDNPR is the (I'm not sure) a part of the immigration who is in-charge of checking requirements such as passports etc.
8. Another friend of mine, who is also a nurse from the Ph, waited for about 8 weeks til her visa was approved.
9. Some friends here mentioned that it takes about 6-7 weeks.
10. You can check your visa status on https://lmra.bh/portal/en/express_services IF you don't have your application number, you make check it via your Passport number. However, based on my experience, this only happens AFTER your 21-25 day grace period.


So these are the information that I know about working visas in Bahrain. I hope this helps! and for those of you who are also unsure and are anxious, just like me, I hope the Lord/Allah grants us longer patience to wait for the day our visas will be released.
