Moving to Tel Aviv in September! :)

Post new topic

Alexandra07

Hello Everyone! I will be moving to Tel Aviv this September to take a graphic design course after my birthright trip through Israel! Im sure I will meet lots of great people in my class, but I would love to meet other people in Tel Aviv...hopefully someone would be interested in showing me around? :) I've studied abroad before (in Paris), but have never been anywhere like Israel so Im looking forward to experiencing something completely new...any suggestions for how to meet people and get the most out of my stay?

Shalom,
A good way to meet people might be by taking Hebrew classes at the Ulpan.

Hi

Welcome to Israel.

There is another painless way to learn Hebrew - and that's via Skype!

There's a company  that specialises in this - here is the link:

Good luck!

hi there, ulpan is great and also check out websites like telelivit and janglo they are directed to expats here and include all sorts of activities. on a larger scale, keep an open mind, throw yourself into things, get a boyfriend/girlfriend while you are here (ha ha i have an israeli husband) and enjoy the amazing food, vibe and climate. good luck!

Hi Alexandra! I've just moved here too and did so after my Birthright trip! I created a group on FB to try to connect the Birthrighters that have come here. Join it here: facebook.com/pages/Birthright-Alumni-Living-in-Israel/165147903576754

How is everything going for you so far during your time in Israel? I hope you are enjoying Tel Aviv!

It's true Alexandra, if you go to an ulpan, you will meet many people.
Besides, Tel-Aviv is a fun city for young people, fun and warm.
Enjoy your stay!
