Denva

Hi Everyone my name is Denva and I've just landed in Abu Dhabi to start a new job. I've been in KSA since 2017 so a new start in the ME for me. Looks like I will be living in Al Muneera area so maybe I will bump into you at some point. My wife will be coming out to visit on extended stays so would be good if anyone knows any local groups in Al Muneera that my wife might want to join - doesn't matter the group as I know the ladies socialize quickly and can find friends easily. Thanks just now and hopefully see you around - Denva

I have lots of dreams to fulfil. Many bucket list to complete. Looking for someone who can join me, and give company, it’s been 10 days, and I don’t have friends here. It’s been so lonely already.

@Julien hello! New ro Abu Dhabi and trying to find an affordable apartment without working through the real estate agents who are not the most honest when it comes to Customer service. Which other platform can I use to pay less for a proper apartment close to Yas Island.

Hi @Julien

Who am I

I am John Marphy from a small state called Kerala, from the southernmost end of the Indian continent. I came to Dubai last year, and I still can't believe I live in Dubai, one of the most sought-after places in the world.

Work

I live and breathe Tech, brand, sales funnels, and conversion marketing. I currently help people find ***** and Sharing bed spaces in premium apartments across Dubai Marina, Barsha Heights, and Al Barsha 1 which is near the Mall of Emirates.

Stay

I have found a cool shared bed space to live in the Tecom area (Barsha Heights) in Dubai with a flatmate.

Travel

I used to take Dubai Metro earlier from where I was staying.  Since I moved near to my workplace recently, I do take a brisk walk to my office every day, which gives my daily dose of cardio exercise.

Food

I do cook on my own in the shared kitchen in my flat. I have learned from my kabayan (Philippine) friends how to cook Pasta. I have also bought some Arabian masala mix and pepper powder, Canola oil and some salt which goes into my dish daily. I mix the pasta with some pre-cut sliced vegetables and some fish. This is very easy to cook and makes your day healthier. I also buy occasionally some fruits like Oranges and bananas which are available here. Overall I find the food healthy here if one can cook themselves.

What's NEXT

Other than my work, I believe I have a zillion things to explore here in Dubai. I truly love Travel and Nature, especially Desert Safari and possibly Ski dives :)

Hope you guys have a great year ahead!
