yippee.....finally........ i'm tired, like most people, of these unnecessary precautions that were forced on everyone.

Is this nationwide?

I'm traveling to the Philippines in late May. Sure would be nice if they ditched the chin warmers by then... How are you gonna find a girlfriend when neither of you can see each others face? Subtle facial expressions are the best way to gauge others emotions. Besides that, I'm a handsome devil...

The info I looked at and perceived was from CNN Philippines

Alert 1 is from Manilla won't do us much good to travel around if the regional governors don't loosen up!  There are areas if you go to you still have check in with the regional folks to quarantine, test.  Thanks

How did Pinas go from Alert Level 4 to Alert Level 1?

Shouldn't it be staggered -- 4 then 3 then 2 then 1?

Because it is the Philippines... lol.. 😆

It is staggered when it's being downgraded.

Just before Christmas when the daily number of cases were less than 300, we were at Alert Level 1. Then cases shot way up, and we went from Alert Level 1 to Alert Level 3. As numbers decreased, Metro Manila went down from Alert Level 3 to 2. Currently, we're at Alert Level 2. Maybe we'll get downgraded to Alert Level 1 tomorrow.

Hi, new here.   Does anyone here know how Alert Level 2 impacts tourists versus Alert Level 1?   For example, in terms of quarantine days?

There is no quarantine on arrival with neg test and shot card.  Region rules are totally up to them so you need to look at where you are going through and to. Please correct me if I'm wrong, thanks.
