Post new topic

velmmtz
hi guys. hope u all are well..

i got employer from saudi arabia which is willing to send me a working visa however, they also do not know the process i needed here in bahrain to transfer to saudi. tried million times contacting saudi embassy here in bahrain but to no avail.

my employer wants to know what else do they need to provide aside from visa for my smooth transfer to saudi. for ex, do i need to do medical here before transferring, need to go to saudi embassy here for some document stamping and some more info needed. in short, the step by step process.

thank u so much guys and have a great week ahead!

The VFS Tahseel process as above will be followed later.

There are a few key things before that:

1) Your employer needs to assign a visa for your nationality / profession to the Manama consulate.  This is critical as most employers cannot do this (no quota and / or quota assigned to country of your nationality instead of country of residence).  Once done, they will sent you an electronic copy - this is the MOFA pre-approved visa listed in the requirement.  Forget the labor slip......referring to outdated process

2) If the point above is valid, then you need to get an E-Wakala in favor of an agent in Bahrain.  You CANNOT apply for the work visa yourself

3) Your Bahrain sponsor (Company with a CR) must give you an NOC.  Otherwise, you will have to go back home and apply from there.  If you are on a self sponsorship visa, you cannot apply for a work visa from Bahrain

4) The medical is done in Ibn Nafees

5) Attestation is important but keep in mind (and it has happened to many people) that all Saudi Embassy looks at is whether the degree has been attested by Saudi culture / Saudi Embassy in home country or not (followed by MOFA Bahrain attestation).  They are not doing any stringent check of profession and degree match (So far).  So it can happen that you get the visa, land in Saudi and at the time of Iqama, your Iqama issuance is blocked as your degree doesn't match the profession you are applying for.  So try and make sure that your degrees match the profession that your employer is targeting.   Otherwise you will be stuck, have to exit Saudi, go home and apply from there AGAIN.......as would have lost Bahrain residence by then.  See below, it just happened to someone in May:

Collect all of the above documents listed in the previous post and hand it to the agent.  They will sort out the rest.  I think the Saudi Embassy authorized agent in Bahrain is Diplomatic Manpower services.

Hi,

Re: 5) Attestation is important but keep in mind (and it has happened to many people) that all Saudi Embassy looks at is whether the degree has been attested by Saudi culture / Saudi Embassy in home country or not (followed by MOFA Bahrain attestation).

I have an Australian education certificate but I am in Bahrain, so does this mean that I have to get attested my certificates both in Saudi Embassy in Bahrain and MOFA Bahrain? or I need to get attested in Saudi Embassy in Australia and MOFA Bahrain?

logicalindian

10. Copy of Educational Certificates should be attested from MOFA of the issuing country, KSA Embassy in that country and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bahrain.

If you read above.

Assalam Alaykum Brother, a follow up question please. can you recommend an agency here in Bahrain that we can approach to assist us with this process accordingly.

JazakhAllah Khair.  Ramadan Mubarak.

I think it's only diplomat that can do that.  Answered on your other thread.

Chitradevi Sathasivam

@xtang

Last week VFS asked for eqwala and I submitted ( which means they hv quota alloted to process visa ?)..I didn't submit NOC ..

In attestation apostle attestation from India is there . Is that works good ?

logicalindian

Why dont you clarify with VFS, rules keep changing.

XTang

VFS has no idea about quota.  They are just completing documents to submit to Embassy.
