I left Tripoli and am in Lagos. It is not like Libya. Let me know what you need to know. There is a personal message (PM) function if you want details. Regards, Les Pat.

Hi every one, some one who is going to live in Nigeria, should first of all, know what he is her is going to do in Nigeria.yes,if you are an expat its very easy,as you need to contact your embassy and ask them the situation of living over there, because its never easy to go to Nigeria for the first time without knowing someone.Unless you have someone that you know and will be at the airport to pick you up and take direct to his or your hotel.

But for living in Nigeria,is the eassiest country in the world if you be to yourself, and not to look for others trouble,as the Governor of lagos state has made things easier for the poor, the rent is not going to be expensive, because you can only pay for six months now, easted of 2 years in advance.

So,go to Nigeria if you know someone who will direct you on what and where to visit. Its the best place in afrique to visit and experience what is happening there.

Hi all,

Please note that this thread is quite old.

Please feel free to create a new topic on the Lagos forum for better visibility and to share new information.

Regards,

David.

Nigeria is like every other country with the good and the bad, as a traveller, its always safe to let your Embassy be aware of your presence and purpose of visit to any country.
