rahulrt

@Epsilon6 I don't know

Teacher dM

@Aysha Ismail my visa took about 3 weeks. I arrive tomorrow night, medicals are done on Monday, Tuesday is induction and Wednesday we go to our districts according to the schedule I received

kh.Be

Hi,

Any English teacher received an initial offer recently and waiting for the final contract, from Dubai ESE team?

Aysha Ismail

@Teacher dM

hopefully  everything goes well for you, let us know which emirates you will be in ❤️ And let me know if you’d like to meet up! Where are you currently?

Ibrahim Nagi

@kh.Be

English teacher waiting for the visa for more than 40 days so far

kh.Be

40 days even for the ones who are already living in UAE?

Thank you for replying.

Ibrahim Nagi

@kh.Be I think if u already in the UAE then u won't need a visa in the first place.

You need to wait for the final contract same as overseas recruiters which takes mostly between a month or two but there will be no need to issue a visa for u

kh.Be

@Ibrahim Nagi yes, exactly.

Just waiting for the final contract.

Thank you very much!

Teacher dM

Update from the trenches:

Arrived in Abu Dhabi Sunday night and taken to a hotel.

On Monday a rep from the bank came to help us set up accounts. Then we went for our medicals.

Today we were told where we’d be teaching and signed the contracts. We are about 25 teachers all together, and I only know of one guy who got placed in Abu Dhabi.

Im in Al Ain together with 7 others. ESE is taking us by bus there tomorrow.

The majority of the teachers were placed in Al Dafrah.

So far everything is very well run and organized.

hang in there guys, you’re contracts will come soon :)

Aysha Ismail

@Teacher dM

thanks for the update ❤️

Yes, there are very few positions now left in Abu Dhabi.

It’s either Al dhafra or Al Ain or in between!

rahulrt

@Teacher dM Whether all those 25 teachers in your batch are English teachers? or other subjects ?

Teacher dM

@rahulrt about 5 English, 5 science/biology and the rest Mandarin.

Aysha Ismail

@Teacher dM

how is Al Ain and how is teaching going for you? By the way what time do you finish work? Out of the building?

Aysha Ismail

Hi does anyone know how long the visa process takes with ESE? I am already in the UAE

Teacher dM

@Aysha, Al Ain is very nice so far.

my first day at school is only Monday, so can’t comment on any school stuff. My school is an hour outside Al Ain though, but there is a staff bus thank goodness.

Ibrahim Nagi

@Teacher dM

Do they provide a bus all year long?

Are u currently staying in a hotel for 10 days till u find a suitable accommodation?

Raji Biju

Aysha Ismail

kh.Be

Hi,

Anyone received the initial offer, submitted the documents and still waiting for the final contract, or Iam the only one 1f62d.svg1f61f.svg

It has been more than one month!!!

Aysha Ismail

@kh.Be

this stage is really long, contract takes ages to come! 😭 then the visa stage also takes long.

which agency did you apply with?

kh.Be

@Aysha Ismail applied directly through the MOE website.

Ibrahim Nagi

@Aysha , can u please reply to the private message?

Aysha Ismail

Hi does anyone know what details they give you when you start your induction. I’ve just been emailed induction date 8th November, with no details nothing.

rahulrt

My ESE updates:

23 Oct 2021 : My online test

01 Nov 2021 : My interview

15 Nov 2021 : Result declared

22 June 2022 : Pre employment check completed

12 Oct 2022 : Initial offer letter

27 Oct 2022 : Final contract

9 Nov 2022 : got visa

11 Nov 2022 : got Ticket

15 Nov 2022 : Flight to Dubai

The time between my interview result and flight date is exactly 1year. (15 Nov 2021 to 15 Nov 2022)

After the interview result I waited almost 11 months to get my initial offer letter. After that everything was fast.

I think time may vary person to person.

I am praying for All of you

Keep me in your prayers

Wish you all the best

AmreenH

@rahulrt  👏

Thanks for detailed updates. Wish you all the best 👍

Kethcy Angelyne

@rahulrt

Congratulations

I am also waiting for my offer letter.

It's 9th month now.

I am fed up.

Wonder if they'll call or no. All the best

Pray for us.

rahulrt

@Kethcy Angelyne I hope you will get it soon...

Because ESE is not conducting any test or interview for the last few months and there is no active advertisement of vacancies....I think they are concentrating on placing the already interview cleared applicants because many candidates recently got offer letters and other updates.... There are still many vacancies....

But there recruitment process involves many stages like pre employment check, location finding etc that are handled by different groups of people. They are also very slow that's the reason why you are getting very slow.

Shah96

Congratulations Rahul.

My test was done on 17 April and results declared 3 days later.

Have been waiting for interview invite since.

Got a mail on June 30 asking to confirm my interest but they haven't took it forward from there.

Sadukarun

@rahulrt

through which agency you applied?

rahulrt

@Sadukarun World teachers

Narcas

Hi, does anyone have an idea about when the next batch of teachers will be selected to travel to the UAE? The term begins on 2 January, I wonder if ESE will hire anyone around that time?

Princesslove

I wonder too. Did you do an interview and submit all documents?

Narcas

@Kiona Williams-Daley

Had the interview back in June 2022, got the contract in November but since then nothing.

hi.sonia

@Narcas have you received your final contract

Narcas

@hi.sonia

Yep, almost a month ago.

hi.sonia

@hi.sonia
Yep, almost a month ago.
-@Narcas

Oh. Apparently it’s takes no more than 3 weeks for

the visa. Have you emailed and enquired?

Narcas

@hi.sonia

I have emailed them, but didn't get a reply.

What about you, at which stage in the process are you? :)

Princessdi
