We are now less than 6 weeks away from arriving on the island. We have a rental in place and our furniture is being shipped over. I am trying to estimate our living costs.  We are renting a 3 bedroom bungalow with a pool in the Pegia Municipality. My rental costs include the garden and pool maintenance. Could you give me some idea of what the following costs would be:

Electricity per month
Rubbish collection
LPG canister for cooking
Water rates
Council tax or equivalent
Broadband > 30MB if possible
Mobile Phone - contract or pay as you go.

I have budgeted around €350 per month for the above, just need to know if that is enough.

Electricity per month €150-200 With AC for heating and cooling
Rubbish collection €12
LPG canister for cooking €17 for a 10kg  which should last 4-6 months depends on how much you cook I suppose
Water rates probably less.than €20
Council tax or equivalent not worth worrying about
Broadband > 30MB if possible depends on supplier Between €20-40 look at cosmos or ecotech for dish based or Cyta and primetel for land based
Mobile Phone - contract or pay as you go. Again Cyta or primetel . may get a good deal if you take their internet.too ....about €40-60 depending on package .... PAYG. Is ok and relatively cheap

I'd say its enough ..

@MacGeorge8035 oh by the way if you should go to vrisis for the games be sure to book a table as it's almost essential now .. it gets very busy on game days.. just call Phillipo or message him on his Facebook page then tell him what time you want the table for and how many.....
